Kia Ora, I’m Teagan from Wellington, New Zealand and a mother of 2.
My passion for nutrition comes after having two children and wanting to make sure that I had the energy to keep up with them and to understand how to make sure my family has the correct intake. In 2018, two kids later I knew I really had to concentrate on what I was feeding my body. I had just qualified in exercise level 4 and needed to learn a little bit more. So I studied nutrition and whilst I was doing this, I found my new love.
Having a better relationship with food helps in many ways: I slept better, my skin cleared, my nails grew, my brain fog went, energy levels went up and I have over time lost a combined weight between both kids of 45kgs. When talking to family and friends who talk about these few things such as “lack of sleep, energy levels low and feeling bleh” with the knowledge behind me, I now get so excited to be able to help them have a better understanding of food to how it helps our body in so many ways and how to help them achieve these small goals.
With my combined skills of being a personal trainer and now added nutrition, my goal is to help future clients feel as good as I do on the inside and out. Having been through a lot of changes over the years, I have the tools to help you too. “ – Teagan
